Cruise with power The Chopper is a versatile shape - it's a cruisey ride when the conditions suit, but give it a big open face and it will fire on all cylinders. The clean lines of the outline and flat rocker give this egg-inspired shape a really smooth, natural feel. In small waves it paddles, planes and trims with little effort. For surfers who like to surf bigger boards it jumps early in the wave, holds a line in the barrel and draws long rail to rail arcs in the face. With its 2 futures finboxes and a US finbox it can be surfed as a single fin or 2+1. 7.6 x 21 3/4 x 2 7/8 52.5 liter volume Scope of delivery: Board without fins TORQ TEC CONSTRUCTION IN DETAIL: Torq Epoxy Composite offers versatile performance shapes in the most advanced epoxy construction. A mix of traditional fiberglass layers and carbon fibers is used, which makes the boards ultra-light and robust. One step ahead The TEC range is one step ahead thanks to the use of optimized composite construction methods. Super stable, yet lightweight boards with perfect flex. Control - Flex - Response In the TORQ Epoxy Composite production, several layers of fiberglass and carbon reinforcements (in the tail) are processed on the deck and bottom. The underside is also reinforced with carbon in the tail area and also has a carbon strip that runs the entire length of the board, giving it controlled flex and lively response. Unrivaled durability This groundbreaking technology has been applied to the proven TORQ PU / polyester shapes to create true high performance boards with unrivaled durability. EPS foam: Lighter-Faster-Greener The computer-controlled production of the blanks results in significantly less waste. No MDI and TDI. Far more environmentally friendly than conventional polyurethane blanks. CARBON FIBERS: Stronger - livelier Provide the board with greater elasticity than fiberglass. More lively in the maneuvers plus stronger in the stressed region such as over the fins. EPOXY RESIN: Stiffer - More environmentally friendly Less release of toxic VOCs during curing. Stronger than polyester resin. No excess/waste during processing
