The iSONIC in Detail

The evolution continues at an even faster pace: the new iSonic designs for 2025. Our race-ready iSonic 60, 63, 67, 73, 77, and 85.

The 2025 iSonic 60 features a new design with 5 cm a longer flat section in the middle for greater stability in rough conditions, complemented by 20 cm Shorter flats on the sides to reduce the wetted surface area. Redesigned two-step cutaways with an extended triangular geometry offer unparalleled freedom and control. The iSonic 85 now features significantly larger second-step cutaways and a refined forward V for maximum acceleration and control, even at high speeds. Following the success of the iSonic 85, the iSonic 77 adopts its design and performance, reaching over 40 knots in challenging conditions such as the north wind on Lake Garda. For 2025, we are also introducing the iconic Starboard Wood sandwich construction is being reintroduced across the entire iSonic range.

Arrow Cutaways

For 2025, the iSonic 60, 77, and 85 feature the innovative Arrow Cutaway design. The refined second-step length increases lift over the fin, while the extended triangular step provides greater control by minimizing tail walk. The result: a smoother, perfectly trimmed board with an expanded range of controlled fin lift. Higher average speeds bring you closer to your maximum potential, all with greater confidence and comfort. This lets you focus fully on racing and let the board do the rest.

Speed-Focused Stance

The 2025 iSonic models feature an optimized stance designed for speed. The rear footstraps are positioned to minimize water resistance and increase top speed. In addition, the mast track is set further back, allowing the board to ride even more freely and effortlessly. Everything is tuned for maximum speed and performance, so you can confidently push your limits.

Double-Step Cutaways

The latest iSonic models feature refined double-step cutaways for better release and higher speed. The second step is shorter, allowing the board to sit higher on the fin and improving both performance and control.

Mast rail set further back

Along with the rear footstraps, the mast track was moved further back to give the board even more freedom of movement.

Extra volume in the middle

With a refined outline, the 2025 collection offers more volume in the mid-section, providing greater consistency and confidence in challenging conditions. The added volume ensures faster planing and consistent speed, especially in critical situations.

Drake Slick Footstraps

The Drake Slick footstraps are made from FSC-certified, sustainably sourced, plant-based Yulex foam. With 85% natural rubber, CO₂ emissions during production are reduced by 80%. The remaining 15% is synthetic Wetsuit improve UV resistance. Carefully selected with an exceptionally soft upper for maximum comfort.
