Sometimes the way forward is to look back. In 2008 and 2009, while building boards and filming for 5.5 REDUX, we started designing fish boards and other alternative boards around a twin+2 setup. Basically a quad, but with two fins in the front and longboard sidebites as rear quads. Cory Lopez became famous with this setup when he rode one of the first ever documented Strike missions at Skeleton Bay. He was also featured on the cover of SURFER Mag when he did an air in Indo where the fin setup was clearly visible. Over the last year I've revisited this concept and personally had a lot of fun working with Futures to test and develop it. With the new mid-sized Evil Twin template up front and two 80/20 foiled, downsized rear quads, we felt like we hit the nail on the head. After playing with different cants, flexes and optics, we are proud to introduce the all NEW EVIL TWIN+2... or should we say EVIL QUAD. - Mayhem - Construction Honeycomb Template Category Evil Quad Ride Number Balanced - 6.8 Side Fins Rear Fin Area 19.34 10.62 Height 4.87 3.80 Base 4.72 3.84 Angle 6.5 3.0 Foil FLAT 80/20 Scope of delivery: 4 fins
